INSTALLATION, SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

Site surveys are completed prior to each installation to identify and eliminate potential service and access problems. All equipment is installed and tested by Dawmed's factory trained Engineers.

Regular skilled maintenance of Washer/Disinfectors increases efficiency and helps reduce unexpected downtime. DawMed can structure a maintenance program around your individual operational needs. Your program can range from ad hoc repair visits, planned maintenance to HTM2030 / BS EN ISO 15883 periodic testing to fully inclusive programs.

Dawmed's Service Engineers are strategically located throughout the UK to respond to your needs as quickly as possible. Dawmed's vehicle spare parts inventories are constantly reviewed to ensure that the Service Engineers achieve a high first-time fix.

VALIDATION AND TESTING

Dawmed's Test Engineers are City and Guilds 229511 qualified to test Washer/ Disinfectors. Each Test Engineer is fully equipped to carry out IQ, OQ, PQ and periodic testing.

INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION & VALIDATION

A wide range of solutions available on request to suit all customer requirements. Dawmed's premier system, the "IMVS ©" is bespoke software designed to meet current and imminent standards and is available for Beta and Gamma installations

• Validation process data is automatically downloaded onto a PC providing a permanent real time record
• Multiple machines can be connected to one PC
• On screen mimic of each machine, showing their current status, stage, time remaining etc
• Each program automatically stores the machine ID, serial number, time and date, cycle number, process and independent validation information.
• Modem link to Dawmed's head office (optional) for interrogation by its Engineering Department.
• All data may be interfaced with instrument traceability systems
• All sensors can be configured with high and low trip levels to either indicate or trip and stop the machine signified by a "fault code" enabling easy diagnostics.
• Graphical or numerical display, variable logging times from 1-second, facility to export the data into spreadsheet for reporting etc.

TRAINING

To ensure that hospitals obtain the most from their medical device purchase, Dawmed offers a full range of training packages covering all washer disinfectors, whether in the Sterile Service Departments or in the Endoscopy Departments. Engineer First-Line Maintenance Training and End User Training is provided with all new equipment purchases.

End User Training: To ensure departments continue to obtain the most from their chosen equipment, Dawmed offers New User training for new staff, Refresher training for existing staff and a Train-the-Trainer course where key personnel receive advanced training to allow them the ability to undertake continuance training of department staff in-house.
